Addicted to Pinterest

This really happened to me the other day! I couldn't believe what I just thought in my head. I was browsing through a magazine and was wanting to pin everything I saw. How funny is that. HA! Another Coffee Filter Shade

My girls lamp shade needed some tlc. So we gave it a coffee filter makeover. The girls love helping me fold the filters and I hot glued them on. They are such a BIG help when it comes to crafts. They are following in the momma's footsteps already! HA! Anyways here is what it look like before we gave it some ♥.

We love making these and spending time together! I think I have already turned my girls into crafters and diy's! Love it!

I was on etsy and looking around and saw this pink one I would love to make this one too. We could switch the shades out when we want to make the room different.

old window frame with book wreath

My SIL gave me this frame and I painted it up and distressed it and made this book wreath to go with it. Its down my hallway. I love the color of the frame. Here's a before and after pictures:

Now I just need to work on the rest of the walls with my kids photos!

Chalkboard Frame

This chalkboard was in my laundry for awhile, until last night I pulled it out and put it in my living room.  I had a saying I saved on pinterest and wrote it on the chalkboard. It looks good with the lamp next to it.

New Chalkboard

I had made a big chalkboard for my wall last year but I decided I just wanted a smaller one. I had been trying to find a spot for one and one day it hit me. I thought what about on the side on my upper kitchen cabinets. DUH! Why didn't I like of that before. Anyways here are some before and after shots of the new chalkboard.

I am loving this one much better than the wall.

Birthday Cards

Don't know what to do with those old birthday cards besides for keepsake? Here's what you can do:

Make a special birthday banner that you can use for every birthday for that child.

Here's what I did:

draw your triangles and cut them out, after doing one roll I didn't have to draw the lines anymore

I glued my to some yarn I had on hand. But you could use anything for the string

I cut out the Happy Birthday on the card and put it in the center on the banner. That's all you do, simple and quick and have a special birthday banner each year.

Mini broccoli cheese bread bowl

This is the easiest broccoli and cheese soup with a bread bowl that I've ever made. I know you can make if homemade but I was trying to make it an easy and quick dinner.

This is all you need:

can of broccoli and cheese soup

bread for bread bowls

a little bit of milk for soup

sprinkle cheese on top

salt and pepper if you want

Warm up your soup with milk for about 3min in the microwave and then add it to your bowl top with cheese and salt and pepper.

 Cut out the center of your bread

There you have it broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl. Now just add a salad and you have a meal.
