Botanical Gallery Wall

I was so inspired for a botanical gallery wall when I saw this post here. I hopped on board and order my book from amazon. I was searching for frames from hobby lobby, micheals, walmart, dollar general, and dollar tree. I needed 20 frames and didn't want to spend alot of money since I spent a pretty penny on the book, so I decided to go with the ones at dollar tree. I had to cut down my pictures some to make them fit in the 8x11.5 frames but the results are so beautiful. I love how it all turned out.

To help know where all the frames were going to go I took some printer paper and tacked them on the wall then I was able to hang my frames. I spaced them about 1in 1/2 apart.

Now, I'm going to paint my mirror frame black to match and decorate the other wall, and I want some new dinning chairs and loveseat on the other side where my bench is. I have to be patience and wait for something good to come up on craigslist. Wish me luck!
Have a blessed week!

Painted bed sheets for shower curtain

Yesterday I showed you how I made my letters for the kids bathroom wall. Today I was just going to show you how I did the shower curtain. I made the shower curtain out of a twin bed sheet.
I really didn't measure I just eyeballed it and worked out for what I was wanting

This was after I painted and pulled off the tape off. The paint I used was just regular interior paint from walmart color was sunlit tulip

The bathroom is so small and don't have any light that comes in so this was the best pic I could get. I hung the curtain from ceil to floor. I love how it turned out and the kids were amazed what mommy had did for their bathroom.
Also I did sew so button holes at the top for the shower rings would go into.

Checklist for the bathroom to finish it:
Framed mirror
Shelve over toliet for towels
New rug

once the glue has dried, I painted the sides of the letters pure gold color

this is how it will look when its hung.

I got the idea from pinterest of course!

and after:

I will show you tommorrow how I made the letters and Thursday show you how I painted the shower curtain.
