Fall Decorating and Absent

Hi ya'll if you have been wondering where I've been, I had to have surgery and been out for awhile with that. I had to have bladder and wall repair and have been pretty sore. I'm starting to come around and feeling like myself again but still no lifting or straining of any kind. So just keep me in your thoughts as I finish going through my recovery.

Yesterday my husband took off work to stay home with me and I wanted to get out of the house. So we headed up to Target and shopped for two hours. WOW! I guess I needed to get out of the house for awhile. Well I found some cute pjs for my kids for christmas and got them for only $7.00ea and found a cute wreath for my front door and we also saw that the pumpkins were only $2.99 so we picked up a couple of them. So here are some of the decor I did around the house yesterday will hubby help of course.

He still needs to put the rails on it and we gotta paint it to match the house. Then it will be time to decorate for porch with furniture and stuff. Can't wait.

Also the tree in the front we got alot of trees this past weekend from a nursery close to our home and my hubby planted them for me this past sunday! We were so excited to get them too. Thanks Mom and Dad for getting them for us.

Friday Fall Tablescape

I know I usually do friday pinterest style, but today I was working on a little project for my dining room table. Fall tablescape is what I was doing. I got most of the stuff for the dollar tree and found the table mats at the goodwill. I love find a bargain. Anyways this is what I use to make my tablescape:

Old Shutters

I had drew up some great plans for my house and I started with my dinning room area and I'm just about done with it. I have told myself I will not jump around to another project until this planned area was done. So I will be done with this dinning room from my plans on paper this weekend but I wanted to shared about the shutters I found today. If you live in OKC metro there is a place downtown okc called B & B supply. They have lots of new and old stuff there. Not very organized but hey at least I found what I was looking for. My shutters I have been searching forever for some that I was wanting. I scored today! Here's what I did with them.

Oval Table makeover

I told you about this little table the other day and was going to do a makeover on it and put it in my dinning room area. I got it done and it looks great. I love it in there. Here's a before and after shots of it.

This is what I had in there before I got the table. It was temporary until I found something.

I can't believe the weekend is finally here, its been a long and busy week. I'm so glad next week we only have two working days and were out for Fall Break. I hope your week has been good. Oval Table

I bought an oval table yesterday from craigslist and I have plans on putting it in my dinning room. I'm going to sand it down and repaint it. Can't wait to show you how it turns out on Monday!

Happy Birthday..........

Today is my husband birthday today! When he got ready to leave for work, and getting ready to get into his truck he was greeted with lots of balloons in his truck and a card on the steering wheel. He loved it!

 When he got home we had an awesome dinner and his favorite cake.

 Babe I hope you had a wonderful birthday and we love you very much.
