Let's talk about a firepit area, we were tired of mowing around it and moving chairs, etc. So my husband and I got busy and came up with a plan. We made a circle as big as we wanted the area to be. Then we dug up the surface grass to get ready to lay fabric down. Once the fabric was in place we laid brown mulch down on top of the fabric. We were done. I had made our benches first before we even did the circle, so we just worked around them. We love how it turned out and can't wait to be able to roast some hot dogs and make smores around the fire.
